Early life
Sudhir Choudhrie was born in 1949 and grew up in Delhi by his mother since the father died when Sudhir was still very young. No wonder he terms his mother as a role model. His career development
After graduation, Mr. Choudhrie chose to begin his business instead of joining his grandfather in the real estate business. He began to buy and sell TV equipment from the UK and sell them to the Indian government. He aimed at contributing to the growing television network in India by then in 1960 towards the 1970s. Sudhir has served as the director for Chartered Airline Company for one year since 2007. He served as the non-executive director for Ebookers. He also served as Latvia’s Honorary Consul General in India from 1993 to 2004. He received the Theresa May award for Asian Lifetime business Achievements in 2003.

Sudhir supports several institutions in the region. He has dramatically supported Green Templeton at the Oxford university till its library bears his name. He also supports the University of Colombia; its New York City Medical Center and a cardiology professorship are named after him. He also supports charities like the UK Path to Success working to promote education for disabled people and homeless individuals.
