The Key Accomplishments of Andrea Natale, a Leading Cardiac Electrophysiology

Dr. Andrea NataleDr Andrea Natale is a broad certified medical expert who specializes in cardiac electrophysiology and cardiovascular disease. He is also the pioneer of circumferential ultrasound that’s used to correct atrial fibrillation. He is still one of the leading medical experts who helped pioneer the catheter-based cures strategies for managing atrial fibrillation. He has even authored different medical projects, including RABA and RAAFT.

His cutting edge expertise in the field of remote cardiac monitoring led him to get appointed as the chief of medical advisory and research board at Texas Arrhythmia Institute. In his capacity, he has helped advance the companies remote monitoring of implantable electronic devices including loop recorders, cardiac defibrillators and pacemakers.

Today, he serves as the medical director at the Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia Institute. Before joining TCAI, he was a member of Cleveland’s clinic cardiovascular department between 1999 and 2007. At some point, he headed the cardiac pacing department at the clinic. The other important milestone is his appointment to the Food and Drug Administration Taskforce on Atrial Fibrillation.

That aside, he still serves as a faculty head in various renowned institutions such as Stanford, Duke and Dell medical school. Over the years, he has been called upon to speak in various symposiums and conferences worldwide. He has even authored various peer-review journals aside from serving in the editorial board of some of the leading medical journals. He was recently appointed as the chief editor of the journal of interventional cardiac electrophysiology.

The other major milestone Dr. Andrea Natale has accomplished is his passion for medical training and education, which he runs through the EPLive program. This is an intensive two-day program that is held in Austin, Texas. The program still runs in different areas around the world, including Dubai, Europe and Latin America. From 2019, the program will be launched in India as well.

Andrea Natale even serves as the president of Venice Arrhythmia’s workshop, a position he has held since 2007. Andrea’s life’s mission has been to improve his patients’ outcome through different advances in technology such as using robotic devices.
