Supporting the Parkinson’s Foundation
TerranovaCorp has had its close shave with Parkinson’s disease as its President, Mindy Mcllroy, was diagnosed with the condition roughly five years ago. Despite the numerous challenges brought by the ailment, Mindy has stayed determined to overcome and continues to perform her duties at the company. Bittel said that it was after this diagnosis of one of their own that the real estate company started supporting the Parkinson’s Foundation. So far, it has donated more than a million dollars to support the charity organization’s operations.
The Parkinson’s Foundation is a charity organization that specializes in all things Parkinson’s disease. The foundation research and education about the condition. It also works with various established hospitals to set up treatment facilities for the ailment. Stephen Bittel mentioned that part of the donations goes towards creating top-notch Parkinson’s care, treatment, and research facilities known as Centers of Excellence. Thanks to donations from TerranovaCorp, the Parkinson’s Foundation has expanded its network of Centers for Excellence to 45.
