NumbersUSA is an organization that seeks to limit legal and illegal immigration to the United States. Roy Beck founded the organization in 1997 to champion policies that support the reduction of immigration. Its goal does not agree with the message of some organizations with bigger funding like the Libre Initiative. See Related Link to learn more.

NumbersUSA supported the House immigration bill as it contained two issues the group agreed with. The first was the proposal to end family-based visas while the second was employers to use the E-verify system. The bill, however, failed to pass to become law. The organization is since then seriously checking the performance of lawmakers as an advocacy group.
It should be noted that the organization does not support or endorse political candidates. It, however, uses other ways to gauge the political members by letting people assign them grades. The public grades them according to how they vote on issues touching on immigration. In the most recent grading, the congress members had a low performance as the majority were graded with an ‘ F’ or ‘F-minus.’
NumbersUSA has faced a lot of opposition from the organizations that support immigration. This does not deter its goal to limit immigration to the United States to 500,000 people per year. According to Beck, when congress starts talking about immigration, the group gets more funding.
