Abdulla Al Humaidi is a Kuwaiti entrepreneur who founded Kuwaiti European Holding. As the chief executive officer, he leads this holding company that invests in the leisure, real estate and financial services sectors. Abdulla Al Humaidi´s company invests in businesses and projects in Kuwait, the United Kingdom and Asia. He’s a graduate of the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, Ireland.
One of his projects is the London Resort. This is a $3.6 billion theme park that will open in 2024. It will be 535 acres and reachable in about 15 minutes by train from Central London. Partners on this project include the BBC, Paramount Pictures and ITV Studios. Successful investor Abdulla Al Humaidi said the London Resort will be completed in phases. The first areas to open are The High Street and one of five other theme parks.
The second phase will be completed in the next five years. Eventually, it will have six theme parks. These are The Isles, The Kingdom, The Woods, Starport, The Studio and The High Street. The Studio will have thrilling rides and The Woods will be themes based on fables and fairy tales. The Kingdom’s theme will be fantasy with dragons, magic and swords. The Isles will have thrill rides and giant creatures. Successful investor Abdulla Al Humaidi states that the Jungle will be based on a lost Mesoamerican civilisation while The Starport will be a science-fiction theme.
