Jack Mason is a marketing guru and a marketing strategist. His company, Jack Mason Inc & Co CEO , has been voted as the “Best Marketing Firm” by the Austin Business Journal for six years running. Jack Mason Inc & Co CEO has been responsible for the success of some of Austin’s most innovative tech companies, including Triton Digital, BoomTown!, FireAnt, and Mylestone.
Jack is also a philanthropist who works with many non-profits in Central Texas to raise awareness about their causes. He recently joined forces with The For The Love Of Others Movement, an organization focused on improving society through volunteerism and providing resources for those in need.
After the first Austin Game Conference, Jack sat down with me to talk about his two companies, what his plans are for the future, and why gamers make some of the best employees.
Jack Mason was raised in a small town in Alabama. His love of technology began at the age of six when he used his parent’s 486 to write his very first program, a Tic-Tac-Toe AI. He went on to earn a degree in computer science from the University of North Alabama and founded Jack Mason Inc., a marketing firm based out of Austin, Texas. When he’s not working on new business ventures, Jack is a board member for the non-profit for the Love of Others Movement and a member of SAG-AFTRA.
Besides his normal work, Jack Mason also gave a talk at the first Austin Game Conference. His session was titled “How Indie Developers Can Succeed Financially.”
Jack Mason Inc & Co CEO is passionate about using technology to improve people’s lives and society as a whole. He believes that video games can provide valuable experiences for gamers and sometimes even teach insights about real-world problems.
He has been quoted as saying, “I believe that gamers make the best employees because they are natural problem solvers. They take information and use it to make decisions quickly.”
Jack Mason Inc & Co CEO also says he is excited about how technologies like virtual reality will allow gamers to experience things they may otherwise never be able to do in their lifetime.
