One of the most interesting business ventures of Bhanu Choudhrie was the accidental opening of the whole airline industry in India because of a very risky investment of him and his friends. Right after investing in an airline, the group had a mindset that “at least if the airline goes haywire, we can all say that we owned an airline”. Their risky investment ended up sparking the whole Indian Airline Industry.
