Early Beginnings
The early childhood of Igor Cornelsen began in Curitiba Brazil where he was born on 8/4/47. By 1965 his education allowed him the opportunity to register at the Federal University of Parana where he focused on engineering courses for 2 years. Getting into this University was very impressive for his situation because there wasn’t other schools in the area that offered engineering courses.
Igor Cornelsen developed a liking for statistics and numbers which gave him the desire to change course from his engineering studies to economics. A very proud moment came when he graduated from the Federal University of Parana in 1970 then started working at an investment bank in Rio, Multibanco. This was the norm for economic graduates during that period of little computer adaptation because they were skilled in calculating compound interest rates with simple slide rules.
A successful career path followed Cornelsen when it was time to move onto new challenges at a few more companies. It was evident when he received 2 impressive promotions to become a member of the board of governors in 1974 and as a CEO in 1976. The hard work and dedication he displayed blossomed as he started his own investment brand called Bainbridge Investment Inc 1995.
It currently conducts business from its main offices located in the Bahamas which continues to locate the best investment options for clients and structure fixed investment goals for businesses.
