Born in New Delhi, India on September 1949 where Sudhir Choudhrie was raised by a single mother, Choudhrie considered his mother his main role model. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from University of Delhi. Sudhir Choudhrie was the executive director of Magnum Trading Trading Company that he launched in 1975.
Since 1975, Choudhrie focussed on expanding his trade company in India, exploring India’s export market by making connections and networking. He got to know the Indian trade market well enough to help other businesses grow.
Choudhrie spent the last 20th century decade working with Taj Hotels and Resorts as well as Adidas AG in 1995. Choudhrie created Taj Kerala, four exceptionally popular resorts in India. Adidas AG became Adidas Indian Trading and expanded into 180 stores across India.
As a small boy, Sudhir Choudhrie suffered from a serious health problem he faced head on and conquered. Choudhrie is known as a positive force to the people around him. Choudhrie is recognized as a philanthropist. Columbia University established The Professorship of Cardiology in his name.

When Choudhrie was 8 years old, he’d been taken to have his first full medical examination. Choudhrie and his mother learned that he was missing a beat in his heart caused by a leaky valve. The leaky heart valve caused predisposition to many infections. The possibility of his heart giving out at any time led him to eventually undergoing a heart transplant in 1999. The illness didn’t hold Mr. Choudhrie back. He went on becoming a successful entrepreneur. The recipient went on playing an important role in diplomacy by engaging in international commerce philanthropy, and politics. He earned the reputation for boosting company growth.
Sudhir Choudrie worked as non-executive director at EBooker PLC and moving on to other companies. At 70, he’s a business investor for global businesses.
