Education Background
Krishen was born in Mumbai, India, and spent childhood in Delhi and the United States. He attended six different schools in four different countries. He attended the prestigious Lawrence School in New Jersey, where he had the privilege of studying with future Nobel Laureate Paul Krugman. Krishen Iyer received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School. His undergraduate degree focused on International Business and Finance. After graduating from Wharton, Krishen moved to Silicon Valley to attend Stanford Graduate School of Business. After three years of study, he received his MBA degree (with first-class honors) in 1999 after three years of study.
Krishen Iyer joined McKinsey & Company as a consultant immediately after completing his MBA at Stanford GSB. Krishen worked with McKinsey for 3 years before joining Digital Garage as an Associate Partner and Co-Founder (2000) (Newstoday).
At Digital Garage, Krishen was responsible for building its consulting practice and growing its consulting practice across the globe.
