Steve Lesnard, now the CMO and Global VP of Product Creation at North Face, has helped launch a variety of products during his career. One of these products is FUTURELIGHT, a special type of fiber used in The North Face products today.
Lesnard, with North Face, is now partnering with Sonos, a hi-fi speaker manufacturer, to create a specialized series of audio experiences called “The Soundscape Series”. The series is a listening experience designed to give listeners an in-depth look into different types of explorations, such as treks through deserts, tundras, and many more. The goal of this series is to inspire listeners to get outdoors and take on some of these adventures in the first person. The series also features a variety of well-known climbers and athletes, such as Nina Williams, Emily Harrington, and Renan Ozturk, to name a few. During the series, listeners will be able to listen along with the conversations of the exploration teams, offering a unique insight into the particulars of what happens on the different journeys. The series also provides good brand marketing for Sonos’ new Roam line of speakers. The speakers are a rugged, ultraportable solution for adventurers on the go. The Soundscape Series can be found on Sonos Radio, Mixcloud, and YouTube for listeners to indulge.
