Repton School is positioned at the core of the scenic village of Repton and barrier-free to highways and main airports. With a 12th century monastery, the institution has a free space with beautiful aisles. Through the conventional House system, the pupils share meals, which brings out a positive attribute of unity. Given that the pupils live in harmony, the institution runs with cohesiveness and harbors a welcoming aura.
The borders accommodation houses are structured across the village, giving the pupils an emotional connection to the environment. Among the many attributes that the school looks to instill in pupils is academic greatness. Since the pupils differ in abilities, the institution works at an individualized level to ensure that each scholar taps the utmost potential. When pupils are allowed to explore their academic capabilities, they can unleash deep-seated flair.
There have been exceptional test scores from both the A-Level and GCSE. Most of the Sixth Form scholars who, upon completion of their studies, have moved on to higher levels of learning. Some have received admission into universities such as Cambridge and Oxford University. Others have moved over to the United States and got into educational facilities such as Stanford and Harvard.
While academic performance is essential, Repton School believes in working on an all-round student. The institution has a remarkable history in the sports sector at state and regional levels. Its involvement in sports has given the school a reputation as one of the greatest in football. Additionally, in hockey Repton School has been labeled the National Champion over 40 times.
The school has a group of former sportspeople who are familiar with the tactics involved to facilitate high performance in sports. The sports schedule put in place integrates pupils of different ages and capabilities. Also, the institution plans on expanding its Sports Center to provide a venue for netball, basketball, indoor hockey, indoor swimming pool, indoor tennis courts, and indoor cricket. Since the Sports Hall and Strength and Conditioning place is already operational, the next cause of action is to restructure the Sports Center.
The History of Repton School
After its foundation in 1557, the school continues to evolve and now has a population of 640 pupils with 442 as boarders. The education hub is a mixed senior academy with a prep division. It accommodates pupils of ages 13 to 18 who have achieved academic distinction in A-Level and GCSE.
